Annual Spring Meeting

Teachers celebrated the end of the school year with us at the AACTM Annual Spring Meeting on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Educational Service Center XIII, 5701 Springfield Road, Austin, TX 78723, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This year's theme is Math in Motion.

Our keynote speaker was Sam Zigrossi, Director, Charles A. Dana Center. His topic is

"Focusing on the T in STEM: What are the implications for math educators?"

What is AACTM?

The Austin Area Council of Teachers of Mathematics is a professional educators organization serving the Austin area mathematics teachers and leaders. Board Members.

It was organized to provide communication and networking opportunities with collegues, sharing ideas and experiences, and a venue for dissemination of information about reform in mathematics education..
